The university of oxford is a world-leading centre of research, teaching, and learnin. It has no clear date of its foundation, but its history of teaching goes back to 1096 and developed starting from 1167 when English students were prevented from attending the University of Paris.
The Rhodes scholarship is offered by the university of oxford to international students who want to pursue their postgraduate studies at Oxford. The Rhodes is the oldest, and maybe the most prestigious international program worldwide.

The scholarship covers university and college fees, application fee, airfare to Oxford at the start of the program, and from oxford to the student’s home country at the end of the scholarship, for one person, and a living stipend of £15,144 per year.
The scholarship is renewable for two years depending on academic performance and personal conduct.
- Applicants must fulfil the residency and citizenship of the Rhodes they are applying for.
- The age depends on the constituencies, and it varies from 18 to 28, but in most constituencies, the age limit is 24 or 25.
- Applicants must demonstrate an excellent academic record.
To apply for this scholarship, applicants must be eligible (eligibility criteria depends on the students’ country), after that, they need to choose an oxford course, and then write their personal statements, get a reference letter from referees and provide the required documents in order to complete and submit their application.
