The University of Manitoba has an excellent image as a higher education institution with a larger number of research projects than any other university in the region each year. The university leads the province of Manitoba in both total enrolment and campus size and is the 17th largest university in Canada. The campus has several dozen departments with hundreds of programs.
The University of Manitoba graduates have been awarded the Nobel Prize, the Academy Award, the Order of Merit, and Olympic medals, to name a few. The University of Manitoba had 99 Rhodes Scholars in 2019, the highest number of Rhodes Scholars of any university in Western Canada.
Scholarship Details:
The University of Manitoba offers scholarships for international students who want to enrol in undergraduate programs in any field available at the university.

Benefits of the Scholarship:
The amount of $240,000 will be awarded every year to each successful student. The prize will be distributed to the qualified contestants as needed.
Eligibility requirements:
To be admitted, the candidates must complete all of the items listed below:
Requires registration and completion at least 60% of a complete teaching schedule each trimester;
Students continuing their studies must have a minimum G.P.A. level diploma of 2.0. New students (starting in high school) should achieve an average of 70% or more in Grade 12;
First-year international students in their post-secondary studies in Canada are not admissible.
Application process:
To be able to take advantage of this scholarship, students must be admitted to a University of Manitoba undergraduate program. Once registered, applicants will automatically be reviewed and considered for the scholarship.
